Pepakura rondo, details of paper folds

I'm working on an N7 helmet from mass effect. I first scaled it wrong and had to redo it and on the second completed one I got the size pretty decent. But there's some details that are formed from the folds. Is this a concern if they aren't as defined such as narrow flat surfaces and edges aren't as sharp as they should be? Or can these things be generally fixed by fixing it with the rondo/bondo and tools for rescultping them? Or would I have to redo another pep printout entirely? Just curious what you guys have done who came across this issue.

Heres what I mean, mostly with the ear caps

Most smaller details will get lost in body filler anyway, so it's best to think of the paper model as scaffolding for the sculpting that will follow. Keep going with what you have.
