Resculpt of Diamond select 1/4 T2 head

Hi all,

I have post my work so far on this figure in general modeling but have only got a few responses so far, which have been encouraging but I need some advise on improving the head sculpt to best it can be.

The entire Diamond figure is very umm, "slim" including the head sculpt, but you can immediately see the resemblance to Arnold.

I have worked on the face ( and body) to represent Arnold in T2, but am struggling to move any further forward. So if any master sculptures could give me some advice I would appreciate any positive or constructive comment. Here is were I am at.

Saw your thread and just wanted to say the sculpt is looking good. Nice rework so far. Good luck on any further work, but I can't see anything needed to fix except the eye balls being cleaned up.

I would try and blend the hair down a little... is that silly putty in the eyes for protection, or are you resculpting there?

Other than those two things, I think it looks great. Much better than the stock statue photos!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your input.

Yes there is putty in the eyes for protection from undercoat paint as the eyes are good as they are and I am not sure I could reproduce as well.

Ill work the hair into the scalp to loose the line. The hair does actually separate from the scull, I had an idea to remove it and re do the hair because I thought it may be too bulky, but again I am not sure I have the skills to do that, real hair would look amazing if I could find some.

My real concern was that he may still look too old for T2 era, maybe I am being too picky.

Thanks again for your input.

Hi All. I was not happy with the body proportions and the sculpt, so I have started again. Here is were I am at. As I'm sure evry sculpture knows you become blind to the faults when you looka t the same thing for a long time.

I am hoping to get some constructive criticism to take this further. I have used 3d renders of the young Arnold posted on the net from Genisys
