Inspired by a friend's suggestion to do a build up of this little guy. Did a little mockup in moldable plastic the other day (you may have seen on FB). Liked it so much, as did my friend, he suggested I make more. The response on the RPF FB thread was also positive, so I figured why not!!
Sculpted up in clay with a skeleton of soft wire, he's tiny!!!
I love doing plant materials, and had some bamboo to study, so he has a great texture and fun look to him. His beady little eyes are just that...beads!
Love his little mouth, and really like his expensive stance. Didn't photograph his fingers, they're already in silicone.
Ill be casting him in semi rigid plastic, and will be adding faux leaves.
I'll also be selling a few in time for Christmas
