Yes, another Magneto. This one is a private commission I am doing for a client, based on the helmet seen in X-Men The Last Stand. I've been working on this on and off for the past few weeks, it's nearing the major detailing stage, it will then be molded and cast to produce a copy in high impact resin which will then be trimmed, painted and finished for the client.

That looks great. I think if you can you should start a run. There's been a criminal shortage of decent replica of Magneto helmets from the original trilogy.

Did a little more smoothing and started adding in the eye surround section, took a few goes to get it to where I was happy with it.

This will be getting molded in the next week or so, if anyone thinks they might be interested in a finished helmet please feel free to drop me a PM, I'll be updating the thread with photos as I document the molding process.

This is pretty much done, just a final smoothing and tidying up and then I am going to start the mold, I will update further when I have some more photos to share, enjoy!

Here is the first cast out of the mold, came out pretty nice, only a small amount of cleanup needed before it will be ready for paint.

Thanks for the kind words, interest thread in the J/Y if anyone wants a cast, considerably more affordable than the disappointing Museum Replicas version ;)
