Aliens slime

Does anybody know a cheap and easy method to reproduce the slime or "secretions" seen in the alien films? Specifically the kind seen in aliens that spunkmeyer touches before the dropship takes off, that sticky stretchy slime. I can't find that particular scene in online but here are a few screenshots:

It doesn't need to be the same exact substance they used, but I need something that looks similar, is sticky/stretchy, and not too hard to clean off.

I know this isn't exactly a prop but if you guys have any tips on how to reproduce the slime I would be very grateful!

Most slimes require a mix of (transparent) Elmer's glue, Borax and water

They used KY jelly (sex lube)
Pred blood was KY and glow sticks mixed together.

These are mentioned in all the making of videos and articles.

As I understand it, most "Hollywood" slimes were made from a base of something called "Methyl-celulose." My friend Dave has a bucket of the stuff at his shop. Its kind of hard to get off though since its pretty gooey.

They directly say KY in the making of videos.

AvP had their crate of the stuff confiscated by the Czech Customs.
Apparently the country is the porn capital of the world and customs thought it was going to be used for adult movies.

Veronica A. Cartwright talked about some guy on set that seemed to enjoy putting the jelly on the ALIEN.

The fact that HR Geiger's creation was glistening with KY jelly is not entirely surprising. :p
"Call the weird guy, we need more sex lube on the giant phallic, black, walking penetration metaphor!"

I think Alien drool can be a prop. It can make an interesting add on like in the scenes were a gun is coated in it or just a messy puddle on the floor.

If you want it as a prop like one of those rubber vomit mats, try mixing clear bathroom caulking silicone and a spirit (acetone works well here) together in a jar, shake well and pour it onto the surface. As the spirit evaporates, it creates condensation which cures the silicone leaving a you with a rubber mat.

I've looked up a few tutorials of this on YouTube but it seems this mixture tends to be a non-stick slime. I need something that is both sticky and stretchy, since it needs to stick to the bottom of a characters boot. unless there is a way to make it more sticky by using less borax? i am not entirely sure so if you know of more detailed tutorials that would be great!

I have seen the documentaries and knew that they used ky jelly, but i was under the assumption that was only for the first film. I've actually never handled ky jelly so i cant be sure but isn't that the substance we see here?

thats more of a liquidy, clumpy substance, which is great for making something look slimy but like i said i need something stretchy and sticky, similar to whats used in the second movie:

Does that dry out?
Do you actually need it to be gel state?

If you are referring to the glue/borax tutorial, i think so? I think you need to keep it in an air tight container to keep it from drying but i honestly have no idea maybe not.

But yes i need it in a gel state, not a dried out state. I essentially need it for two uses, the first is to have it stick to the bottom of a characters boot, and the second is to use it on a prop alien egg so then when the pedals open up, you get that nice stringy slime stretching with it like this:

If you are chasing that organic look, you are going to want it a fair amount wetter than in that other video then. I think that is why they just used KY. It just has that right consistency.

Here is my attempt. It is flexible rubber, so can be picked up and placed down like a rubber vomit mat.
