ABS-special considerations?

Hey all,
I've made a couple of armours with foam, and have done some stuff with cardstock. What kind of techniques are different with ABS? I would think it would look a lot cleaner, but would I treat it like it was a foam or cardstock build, or is there an even better way? Thanks in advance!

I can't think of much. It's not going to be bendy like paper or foam, obviously. But you can solvent weld it, which is a plus. The "S" in ABS is for "styrene", as in plastic model kits, so if you've worked with those then it's pretty similar. ABS does tend to be a bit harder, I would say halfway between the styrene of model kits and acrylic. So cutting it out can be a challenge sometimes. If it's thick then you're probably better off sawing it, like with a coping saw for curves or any woodworking saw for straights.
