Oblivion bubble ship[Randy Cooper]

As promised, latest update, & most likely to be my next to last as well.

I've been focusing on getting the Cockpit done.
Primarily that involved getting the semi-circle shaped feature that holds the seat looking good. Quite the challenge, actually.
The interface towards the main bubble structure is built up of three parts, where one is translucent and is meant to be lighting. These need to be sanded into a smooth shape with no step inbetween. The parts from the kit did not achieve this straight out of the box so I had to add a piece of styrene to the PUR-part to eliminate the step and get a smooth transition.

Further more,
I've painted the doorframe, the support structure for the chair, the pedals & added a tiny little detail that last minute just because why not?

All put together looks like this:

At the moment I'm focusing on weathering the parts, and other than that, the last thing to do is to spray some filler onto the base, possibly add some lights and paint.

I've been following your Mech Scratch-build. That is impressive work if anything!
