They already acquired Legendary and have very deep pockets as they look to broaden out their studio portfolio and grow the film industry in China. They will become the singl largest consumer of films within the next decade. In my own wheelhouse, Wanda last year purchased the Ironman triathlon series as well.

Some places are fighting back and refusing to sell or even deal with them, sadly hollywood is pretty much theirs now. Expect our movie quality to get worse and pro china propaganda to increase in films.

Agreed, chances are this isn't going to last for too much longer and who know how long they'll actually be able to hold on their recent acquisitions; as it is their economy has been showing signs of slowing down now and has been for the past few years.
