I was recently commissioned to do a proper Benny version of the helmet from The Lego Movie. The cool part is the commission is for someone VERY involved in the sequel. Can't say more right now.
The mold was created from my original helmet. After the cast was pulled I "broke" the chin piece and added some gouges around the helmet. The inside is finished with a quilted liner.
