Metal earth iron man build

So, I picked up an iron man metal earth kit whilst at London mcmcomicon and thought it may be cool to post the build process, it's an advanced kit so not for the inexperienced, the details on this are fairly impressive, here's what I have built so far

Thanks guys, it's an advanced model so is not an easy build, and to be honest the fact that it is coloured makes it harder to build but was so worth the strained eyes and headaches.

Well I've become slightly addicted to these metal models, especially since they added transformers and batman to their ever expanding list of models so here are a few pics of what I have so far
Optimus prime

I'll update with more as I increase the collection.

I find these things like a love/hate thing. There such a pain to make, but at the same time, love it. I got the Batwing for Christmas, just haven't made it yet.

I found the instructions for the Batwing to be a little unclear in a couple of places I would definitely recommend using the online 360 degree model as reference when you build it to see how much some parts need bending.

I flat out trashed my R2 one I got...

I mean that after I wrecked it while trying to put it together, I threw it in the trash.

Screw that! I don't have eyes that can handle putting these together!

I know what you mean, it can be a strain on the eyes to focus on the parts you are working on, everything is so shiny it's hard to focus but I use a very bright modelling light with built in magnifying glass and take alot of breaks.

I built the millennium falcon mid 2016 that was bad enough for a builder with fat fingers and bad eyes ( it's a young mans game ) :$and I ain't young ish anymore but I do love them

I was actually looking into the G1 Optimus one but I don't have the temperament or thin fingers for this kind of thing lol

I'm heading to the craft shop tomorrow and they usually carry these so I'll see if they have a prime i can sneak into the cart lol
