1:350 Enterprise Assembly Question

I'm wondering what the best way to assemble these parts would be. I plan on filling and sanding the gaps where they join together but I'm curious if this would be a good idea or not. I don't really want to paint, then assemble, then re-paint. Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I would assemble first, fill and sand any gaps next, then paint. That said, dry fit first to see if you can minimize gaps with a bit of block sanding. I prefer dry assembling the parts, then using a paint brush to flow liquid cement (I use MEK, myself) into the seam.

ditto what Anakhron said.

do not paint first, then assemble... you won't be able to putty in the uneven places and sand without destroying whatever you already painted.

By the way, welcome to the forum. :)
