Yeah, right now i'm just trying to see what my options for making a star trek blanket are. All I can seem to find online are Star Trek "Themed" blankets
 
If you find a source for the TOS material please let us know. I've been chasing this material for years!

The first TNG pic doesn't look sparkly at all to me. And it does look like it has the random heavy transverse threads characteristic of dupioni.

But of course it's hard to tell for sure at such distance in an image upsampled from SD.

I think I still have some of the TOS fabric we had made for STC if anyone is interested, I can pull it out and see how much I have. From my recollections its about 10 yds.

Well bummer, I thought this thread was about the TNG sick bay blankets. I've always loved the silvery multicolor holographic sheen every time I saw it in an episode.

I hope you didn't have to go to too much trouble to dig it out. It's not the one I was looking for though.

However, I do know someone that would probably love to get their hands on some. I'll ask him tomorrow and get back to you!
