RAH Medicom Joint Repair?

Hey everyone, I just had my first Break on my Medicom Rocketeer. It doesn't look like I need to replace the joint I think a glue of some kind should work, But I've never done repair like this before. What is the best kind of Bonding to use? Or will it be enough? Im not sure what kind of plastic these are made of and I figure Id ask someone who has experienced with this before trying it on my own Id hate to ruin any chance of saving the model due to user error.

It looks like part of the joint sheared out of the plastic around it...am I seeing that right?

If so, I doubt there's much you can do to fix it....unless you don't care about trying to restore the movement of the joint. If you just want to make it displayable, any super glue

And this is coming from someone who has repaired many toys.

I'd say superglue if you don't mind losing mobility, that's a pretty ugly break. One thing to watch out for with super glue is that it discolors plastic as it dries due to "gassing". It can't be fixed that i know of so maybe test a drop on the inside of the broken part first? I had a bunch of transformers get marred by this.
