If casting in clear can I still use mould release?

Hi, can I use mould release when using clear polyurethane or will it make the surface cloudy?

It will make it cloudy. I find if the casting is left to cure overnight, then no mold release is needed.

Clear resin can be tough, you may want to call the manufacturer of the resin and the rubber mold material as well, they should be able to set you on the right track.
