Balance of Error- A Satire with Models

After recently completing my 1/1000 scale TOS Romulan Bird-of-Prey I came up with the idea of using humorously captioned screen caps from Trek Core and photos of the BOP along with some of my other USS Enterprise models to take a satirical look at one of my favorite Trek episodes, the anti-war themed classic, "Balance of Terror".
So, with tongue firmly in cheek, I hereby present "Balance of Error" where Kirk and crew, through a series of boneheaded blunders and just plain dumb luck, somehow prevail in a battle of nitwits...
P.S. Please note, in an effort to be true to its original series roots, I have included a good dose of more or less overt 60's sexism; so, if that offends any of you, well, you better quit reading right now and go back to watching your Star Trek the Next Generation episodes.

Nice model, the way you've lit and shot it fits with the originals very well although your starfield could maybe do with fewer of the big coloured stars?

Also: While the original series of Star Trek (as a reflection of the society of the time) had issues with sexism, I think it's rather more respectful of women than you are. I don't think vintage attitudes are something to aspire to.

Thanks for your opinion and input WIll. This is an irreverent, satirical look at Star Trek, so not a literal reflection of how women were actually treated on the show so please take it in the "tongue in cheek" spirit that was intended. As regards starfields, I did a LOT of close scrutiny of the DVD screencaps on Trek Cor and was surprised at how many of the large colored starts there actually were. If anything, I removed some when I made my doctored images. Again, thank you for your comments.
