32" "studio scale" McQuarrie Falcon

this was so much fun to design, but everything you're doing on this build, especially the greebles you're working in are really bringing this thing to life!

I would love to see this thing filmed and composited into some flybys or something.

Figure sculpting and painting is not something I have done much of, but when you need to do a couple dopey figures, you do your best, lol. About 80% of the way there - need to add highlights, weathering, and make that place look lived in.

Thanks! Sealed and seams sanded. Will paint this today (carefully) and then the next step is positioning it into the main saucer. Then it gets Apoxied in place, LEDs reconnected to the main bundle, and then that last "pie piece" of the saucer can be put in place. Then it's onto skinning the sidewalls!

I have always been a big fan of Ralph McQuarrie. His concept paintings and designs have stood the test of time and look as plausible today as they did decades ago when he made them. This is a fantastic project. You are really doing it justice. The interior looks awsome and the figures are amazing!

The McQ painting in DB94 has her looking a bit reflective/metalic
