General Leia Organa's ring and earrings, TFA

Hey folks, long time no post! Just popping in to show my current work on replicating Leia's ring in The Force Awakens. No one has yet divulged the significance of the ring (I am sooo hoping it's an engagement or wedding ring, be still my little shippy heart) but I had to have it regardless.

This is the original:

I started out with basically the wrong everything, it was a bit of a hot mess. Wrong size stones, wrong gauge wire, the works. But I started getting the technique down, and each time I made the ring I worked out more and more kinks, figuring out how to press and anneal and torch-weld the ends and everything, until finally...

This is my first final, after the antique patina and sealant went on.

This is the ring before the patina and before the brushed-metal finish (the stones are also not set in this image):

Pretty happy with the results as of right now! May have a few more nitpicks to work out down the line, and I would kill to actually see the ring in person...

EDIT: My first ring was...well, my first ring lol.

The rings I'm shipping out to people look like this baby.

(though this is without the patina and the stones have not been set)

you did a great job!
I really like the jewelry, badge, pin, etc side of props.

So looking back, my first ring is rather lumpy and crazy looking, but I guess your first iteration of something always is. My very first order turned out significantly better, and I've been really enjoying making these little babies.

I don't think any of these photos actually has the antique patina finish on them yet, the first one doesn't even have set stones, but the process has been really fun (although the patina has been a little stressful because neither my parent's place, my apartment, or either studio I've been working at have any kind of proper hood for working with chemicals like that, I've been stuck with just a mask, opening windows, turning on fans, and getting out of there as fast as possible :facepalm )

Also I've started working on Leia's earrings from her blue dress in TFA.

I'm not totally sure about what the metal is, sometimes I think it's some kind of gold, or a rose gold, sometimes I think it's a silver with some sort of patina or plating... Unfortunately with all the costumes that are traveling with exhibits, none of the jewelry has made it out anywhere to be seen in person, which is a bummer.

This is my first mockup, which was in bronze, not the right metal at all but it was just what I had lying around.

My mom modeled for me since I have tiny ears haha.

Hoping once I figure out exactly where I want to go with the metal, I'll have my first pair of earrings to put together!

Thanks! I really should post my other stuff from the past year, I finally did the Chiana costume I've been talking about for nearly a decade now haha. XD

Can anyone figure out her earrings? Some images look kind of brass and brushed, some like silver and shiny...There are only like 2 photos so far, I gotta get the BluRay and pause it a few times lol.

And of course another ring order, my orders look so much better than my first one that I made for myself:
