Best idea ever! That's just so clever! Can't you post a pic with both together? Thanks for posting this, such an fresh and original idea! The water looks very realistic.

The water is remarkable simple - it's basically a layer of super sculpey with all the ripples just roughly scored in with the round end of a paintbrush - spent no more than 10 mins doing that. Then sprayed greeny-blue and drybrushed a couple of lighter shades over the peaks (again, roughly - 5 mins tops!). The whitewater was thick acrylic paste stippled over the wave peaks.Then 3-4 coats of Future for a nice glossy finish, and finally a dolloping of a clear thick acrylic medium I found called "liquid glass" all around the edge of the fin to give the splashes some volume....
