Deagostini Millenium Falcon Builders - Germany, Italy and Spain (JAN 2016)

No, to my knowledge no testrun parts are sold in Germany. But the UK-parts from batch 02-14 are, which have the panel edges on TP-1 and TP-2 missing. Reading through the forums, it seems as if they sell more UK parts than reworked parts. I got the UK versions myself, TP-1 got already replaced by DeAgostini, I am waiting for TP-2 now. They made a limited offer for replacements, I hope that I am lucky.

Since it's finally availiabe in germany, too, I'v started collecting the issues. My Plan is to wait until I have ALL the issues some day in 2018 and start building then, using the RPF as a source of upgrading tips and for general inspiration. I have an agreement with my Model-dealer who will order the issues and store them for me to pick them up every other month. Very convienient and he gets at least a little share.

Ok experts, stop the talk an show progress, please:facepalm:D

I'll follow this very thread with interest!

Hope to have the correct pieces, would You please clarify what to check in order to understand if I have the correct turret or the not so accurate one?

Regards,

Alberto

As I wrote in the other threaad: Just count the edges. The side panels have their own edges on top. Look at this picture:

Since the Deagostini Millenium Falcon collection has just started in jan 2016 in Germany, Italy and Spain, I consider a good idea to make a separate thread for the countries that have just started the subscription, instead of posting in the first one

This is a very good idea - I'm in and have finished today my paint job fo the cockpit inlay.

My green stuff is THE "Green Stuff" from Games Workshop (it's really the name of it). It's a two-compound epoxid which is first flexible like bubblegum und than hard like wood.

Das grüne Zeug ist "Green Stuff" von Games Workshop (das heisst wirklich so). Es ist ein 2-Komponenten-Epoxidharz, der erst weich wie Knetgummi und dann nach dem Aushärten hart wie Holz ist.

madcow0812: yes, to store all the packages till we need them is kind of a big puzzle.

The paragraphix backside of my cockpit is now put together and painted:

The colored blotches are for the colored lights later. I think I have hit the original pattern (thanks to 61 screenshots on my harddisk).

Thank you Mr. Stark. But I think I am a little bit slow with my work. What about you, guys? How is you progress in the rest of Germany, Italy and Spain?
