Hate to say it, but Mad Max edged out TFA for me. Close call though. After that I might have to give it to Ex Machina for third place. Yet to see the Martian, Hateful Eight, or It Follows, but I'm sure I'll like them. I'm one of the few who openly love Jurassic World still (the internet really turned on that one!)

It's Star Wars then fury road for me but as a suprise for me anyway I really loved ant-man. I just didn't expect it as I just had no interest at all but I was pleasantly suprised. Great film.

This was a two horse race for me between Star Wars and Mad Max, but ultimately I went with Star Wars because it was everything I was hoping for from a new beginning to the franchise.

Age of Ultron and Creed gets an Honorable mention
And despite all the hate given to Fantastic 4 I thought it was the best version yet of any of the Fantastic 4 movies which is not saying much at all . I feel bad now there are others I have not seen yet like crimson peak and sicaro .

Man, this list is reminding me how movies I missed out on this year - but at least I hit Mad Max: Fury Road, Jurassic World, The Martian, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Haven't been to the theater in years.
The only movie on your list that I've seen is Jurassic World on DVD.

Is it possible I only saw three movies last year? Mad Max is definitely number one, and tied for two would be SW-TFA and Terminator-Genisys.

I could swear I saw something else, but I can't for the life of me remember what.
