3D Modelling - Lawgiver

Hey there everyone,

I thought I'd take a stab at another of my favorite weapons and made a kit form of the Lawgiver from the 95 film. I tried to make it as accurate as possible while still making it interlocking and hollow to minimize the cost to print.

It looks good, but are you sure about the width? I seem to remember it being a little wider.

it does seem a little slim now that I think about it, I just checked another model and it seems mine is 10 mm smaller. Will have to look into that

What is the width of the model you checked?

The model I checked was 40 mm thick, mine is about 27 mm thick

Thanks, I'm also making a lawgiver (not 3d printed) and couldn't find any info on width

I don't actually know the real size, I took an estimated size, and looks like I'm off.

I've just found a stunt one on a previous propstore post with dimensions
Item size - 11.42" x 1.97" x 6.69" (29.0cm x 5.0cm x 17.0cm)
Hope this helps for us both

Need to stop forgetting to bring the lawgiver to work, so I can work on it on my lunch break

2" wide seems very, very wide, i was thinking more like 1" to 1.25"

It does sound a bit wide, I will continue looking as I'm nearing the stage where I need to "fill out" mine

I settled on 1.5" width, seems wide enough for me:

It actually looks quite good with that width, I think. Somewhat "relaxed".
