when you offer steel shrouds (thick walled front, like parks replicas) and bolt, I am in, please let me know.
here's a shroud i found in the junkyard that seemed to match the casino/Hero in texture. it was super heavy though. It had a big crack I repaired with JB weld
View attachment 690549View attachment 690550View attachment 690551 it looks like I eventually wrinkle painted it too. wish I hadn't!
you still have it?! ever throw a magnet on the emitter?
Yes, I'm curious as well!
To me it all makes sense that in production they probably made a few changes over the years in the product. The addition of the extra step in the shroud for instance is most probably done to get an internal step which prevents the shroud from sliding too far over the top. Maybe the steel version was made before the aluminium version, but proved too heavy and was therefore replaced. Or perhaps there were other issues with it, like the cracking. Or the supplier was changed. It's all equally likely.
thatsba NO to magnetic on that shroud. it was uneven too, side to side.
Looks great, I take one.
Please tell me the hole for the knurled screw is not offset again?
