After finishing my first captain America armor and not 100 percent liking everything I did, I've decided to make a version 2 of the suit.

With the first suit I went off of a concept design, I've decided to use my own this time around.
I modified my old templates from my last build to create the new ones. So far I've only had time to create the chest. This will be a slow process with not having a lot of free time. But let me know what you think.
Hopefully will make this picture heavy but I'm bad about taking pics. Thanks for looking.

I made a lot of progress on the back armor and even managed to fit the two peaces together for a test fit. Liking it so far still, a long ways to go. The back needs a star and some more detail.

I also have been playing around with a helmet design.

I want to give the have a go hero a shout out for giving me the inspiration to do this design. If your on therpf, thanks man! Hope to have more pictures and progress up this weekend. Thanks for looking!

The back detail is almost finished. I'm working in the body connectors now and hope to have the chest and back ready for sealing soon.

The front and back are complete just have to attach the buckles and either use Velcro or magnets to secure the shoulder straps.

That's an interesting take on the helmet.

Really cool design. I like the helmet, it kind of reminds me of the Dawn of Justice Batman armored cowl. What is the color scheme going to look like?

Thank you. I'm thinking about going with the dark blue, red, and silver. With brown gauntlets and shins.

Hit a small snag with the side of the armor but after some head scratching I worked it out. Still have to finish the buckle side but it's almost finished. Will try and do a suit up with the helmet soon.

Torso is finished. And here is the first picture of it with the helmet.

I've glued the helmet together just have to add all the little details now and the elastic for the jaw.

Thanks. Working on some custom ear guards. Let me know what you guys think.

Ok I promise to load more pictures of the armor and not just the helmet soon. the helmet is finished except for the wings which I can't figure out a design I like :/. The A is just pinned on it'll be made permanent after paint. I also started drawing up a template for the shoulder armor but not 100 percent done with them yet. .
Also I'm not sure if I want to add a collar to the chest piece or leave it without.

Looking good. The shoulder design is very nice. Also, I think a collar would suit the chest piece very nicely.

Shoulders are almost done have to add the star in the center and the straps once it's all painted. Hope to finish these tonight and start work on the Gauntlets and collar . More pics to come.

The shoulders are done. And I even did a throw together Suit up. None of this is permanent, I want to seal and paint before getting the permanent strapping done.
