Does anyone know what the tactical suits on Atlantis are made of? I mean the dark gray/black trimmed ones that Col. Sheppard and his team wears. Are they custom made or off-the-rack? Accesories as well.

That is the type of suit that is not only functional but also great to take to a con.

Anyone?

Near as I can figure, the stuff's custom made. In the first episode, everyone wears stuff by The North Face before they go to Atlantis, and I've found some North Face pants that look just like the stuff on the show, but I think the jackets are custom.

Yeah, they are custom made.

There is a person on SFH (www.scifihero.net) that does Dickies jacket conversions.

Not 100% accurate, but if you're looking for close and quick.

That looks pretty good actually.

I'll have to look into it, as my next costume that I'll be doing is
an SG-A costume.
