arent there hex screws in the Maz box saber? see picture above on this page

I think it's inconclusive at this point. Therefore you could use which ever you prefer.

Roy's bottom plate doesn't have the sound hole. A version with a sound hole like the one pictured would be perfect for FX conversions.

The ESB ring is not laying against the Kobold, it is up at a 30 or 40 degree angle.

If you look at the pic of Luke's lightsaber sticking out of the snow in the Wampa cave you can see exactly where the d-ring hits the Kobold clip because there are 2 divots or 2 worn spots on the edges of the clip.

I have been searching for slightly bigger d-rings and come across these on flea-bay. They measure 32mm across and 19mm up. Although the photo doesn't show it, both d-rings are the same width. I think this might be closer to the correct size....thoughts anyone?

Someone actually offered me $850. I think he was serious, too. That was at a huge display I put on at a big military event earlier this year.
I politely declined.
He persisted.
I then told him to go choke himself and his entitlement mindset.

Oh god that setup is beautiful. I'd die if I ever got my hands on the camera and flashgun, even in shoddy condition
