Bandai release schedule

Awesome cockpit !! I am wondering if this can be made visible without taking of the full head.
Wanna bet, someone already works on a fitting Veers ? :) ;)

The attention to detail in these Bandai models just blows everyone else away.

The Revell AT-AT and AT-ACT just have hollow foot pads, meanwhile Bandai does fully detailed interiors and foot pads

Looks like another amazing and best-detailed Star Wars Model offering from Bandai.

Yes, I fully expect that Japanese miniature master to carve Veers out of a matchstick, complete with wrinkles in his sleeves and a working helmet buckle over a light up LED of hologram Vader and perhaps rigging this to walk via remote control.

Here's some pics of the TIE panel defects after a coat of grey primer - still showing up very clearly which means there's some significant surface texture variations

Hey guys, getting back to the recently spotted Bandai kits at Hobby Lobby, does anyone know more specifics of the deal that is making those kits available? More specifically, is there any known chance that they may release any of the figures to Hobby Lobby? Wanted to get a Sand trooper for a while now and I think actually seeing it in person with a potential 40% off coupon in hand would definitely push me over the edge.

Just curious,
Bill

Figures are definitely not possible - Bandai/Bluefin can only distribute ship models in the US because of Hasbro's action figure license. Just grab one on Amazon - they ship from Japan but the wait is normally less than the estimate.

That's what I figured (pardon the pun) just wishful thinking. I'm sure one day I'll pick one up. Just seeing the action figure joints makes me back out usually. I know it wouldn't be hard to fill and shape them but I guess the desire isn't strong with this one...yet.

Ditto what E. Williams has offered. I got my figs from Amazon and they shipped from Japan. Took anywhere from about 4-6 weeks with free shipping.

I will say that their Phasma figure was excellent and the joints were well hidden under the armor.

BTW - any word yet on when your domes for the Zvezda will be available for sale again on Shapeways? They are still listed as unavailable.

Hi INVAR, no word yet. I've changed the model and reloaded it but for some reason they don't seem to have checked the new model yet. I will send another prompting to see if they'll get it passed. A little frustrated with them at the time. NEVER had any issues like this before.

I was watching ANH last night and it seems one of Vaders escort tie fighters has the same blemish on the panel.
However, Bandai isnt known for adding dents and such.

I just flipped through the screen caps at https://starwarsscreencaps.com/star-wars-episode-iv-a-new-hope-1977/ (Vader's TIE fighter squadron appears from page 72 onwards), and it's difficult to make out clearly, but there's a blemish that consistently shows up in exactly the same place as one of the "defects" on the TIE panel.

Because this kit is specifically depicting Vader and his wingmen, I think Bandai is actually being hyper-accurate to the screen used studio model here. I have mixed feelings about that, but it's not going to put me off the kit.
