I was asked by my wife to make this helmet so I could not say no lol. Here are some pics of my model. I spent like 8 hrs looking for the perfect reference images for this helmet. I am very happy with this helmet and this being the first one not made for me. I hope my wife is happy with it. What do you all think?

I will be printing this soon after I scale it to fit my wife.

This would be a great way to get my sister into (more serious) cosplay for next year's comic con!

I am DEFINITELY interested in a helmet for my wife. If you have them before April please let me know! Im about to begin working on her armor right now

Cool.. are you starting a thread? If so I would love to see your build of the armor. I haven't started mine yet.

I am considering it, but my time is mainly consumed with whirlwind of projects right now so idk how thourough i can be with a thread.

So far I am thinking of using foam for her armor components, and my wife will actually be working on the undersuit and pants herself.

Im new to this, and am worried my painting skills may be no match for this project, but i am going to give it my best shot anyways. I have a template for the rebels logo that i cut out of a Kanaan/Ezra toysrus toy

I had some time to get more sanding and smoothing done. Still working on the range finder. I want this to look like it does on the show but I think other mods will be needed to make it work in real life. Here are some pics of the smoother version!

still some more smoothing but it is looking great!

building a sabine for my wife and definitely been hunting down helmets, this is shaping up to be one of the best looking ones yet, definitely interested once casting comes around.
