This build would not be possible without the file from kenlandrum. Thanks!

So, I asked for a 3D file for TASM2 pumpkin bombs and ken stepped up and not only modeled the file, but he gave it away for free! The file was not readily printable because the mesh was made of several independent objects. After tinkering around with it, I was able to get the file to a printable state. I had the file printed by a friend (and fellow RPF member) from my local makerspace (Freeside Atlanta).

Here are pics of the raw print. It was printed in 2 halves split top and bottom. I acetoned the 2 sides together.

This was printed at .1mm resolution and high detail. I was told it was a 10 hour print.

I then took to cleaning up the print lines. First I sanded the model as best I could. Then rubbed it with acetone to smooth it out.

The acetone dissolves the sanded particles and melts in to the surface. This makes it really shiny and smooths the surface out quite a bit.

Next I hit it with spot filler putty to patch the holes from printing.

Here it is in its current stage of progress after sanding down the putty and continuing to sand out the print lines.

I still need to do at least 1 more round of putty and sanding before moving on to primer and wet sanding. I am going to mold and hollow cast these then paint up 2-3 for use with my Green Goblin costume. I still need to find somewhere to have the decals printed.

Stay tuned for more!

Also thanks to kenlandrum again. I don't think I can say this enough.
