So this is my Version of an Ewok. Based on the Wicket character. Still in Progress.
First I used an old Halloween Mask for the base. Cut out the mouth, nose and Eyes with a knife.
Then I took some Paperclay and began to sculpt the nose and the lips. The nose I had two make a new one, because the first looks more like a pig nose though. This is the second one and I´m quit good with the result.
After fitting in the eyes I began to sculpt the eyelids and put on some paint with acrylic Brown.
Also the ears I made out of Paper Clay and glued them with Hotglue on the mask.
After that I cut some foam rough and place them right for the position for the cheeks and forehead. Hotglue!
After that I cut some fur parts and glued them around the mouth and cheeks.
Some more fur between and around the eyes. Forehead.
And finished with dark brown fur the head. Some of my friends say the eyes looks to big. But my daughter is wearing the mask. So for her it´s more important to see what´s going on outside the mask.
