This Halloween I decided to be a Ghostbuster since I"m a big fan and now my son is.
I ended up building a pack out of wood, a pack out of foam, and a half size pack out of foam. I also built two traps.
I ran out of time at the end and had to cut a few corners that I will correct later.
My aim was the most accurate components for the least amount of money.

For the uniform, I use a Tru-spec flight suit and dyed it gray. Patches were bought from ebay.

I made a belt gizmo out of acrylic using paint and adhering a circuit board printed on paper, using Stormtrooper's plans.

I dyed the belt and made the belt fobs out of an old belt.

The gloves are vintage 1983 I bought from gbfans.com.

The elbow pads are volleyball knee pads that were painted with gray primer, folded in and sewn together with a black stripe also sewn on.

The trap is wood and aluminum.
I started with a Sketchup model based on Sean Bishop's plans.

It ended up being pretty heavy, but it is also durable.
I plan to purchase the buttons later, running out of time, I had to move to building the proton pack.

My proton pack is 1/4" MDF and pvc pipe. I ran out of time and didn't get to do the bumper. Starting so close to Halloween parts would either take too long to ship or were unavailable. I plan to correct and add to the pack later.

I got a wand light and sounds kit from gbfans.com.

I started with a Sketchup model based on Stefan Otto's plans.

The frame is an LC-2 ALICE pack frame from the military surplus store.

The standard size foam pack utilizes pink insulation foam, and a pie pan. I glued the foam to 1/8" hardboard and mounted it to an LC-2 ALICE pack frame.

I coated the foam before painting to protect the foam.

The mini pack is built to fifty percent size and is insulation foam as well. The frame is PVC pipe. I will add photos in the next post as I've exceed the limit.
Here is my proof photo
