Iron-Monster sculpt

His guys I thought i would share a mask sculpt i am working on. I was looking for something to practice sculpting and google " creature concept art" and found the Iron Monster concept are and thought it was freaking awesome. I am not done and it might be a few weeks before i am able to finish it up and mold it but i thought I would share where I am at.

ear details and some texturing. I know they dont have that bubble kinda details but i wanted to kinda make it my own as well as working from the art


I am planning on making this in to a silicone mask. it will be the first one i have made and cant wait to see how it turns out

thank you i hope to get some more time on this tomorrow. In a couple of weeks i have 6 days off so i can focus on finishing it up and molding it

Awesome concept and awesome sculpt. What kind of clay are you using?

thanks guys. The clay im using is monster clay mixed with white oil based clay. I had a bunch that was mixed together so i melted it all down together and strained out the junk from past use and then let it cool off. It actually worked really well together

Resurrecting this old thread not really nerco sense its mine but here is the finished cast of this mask. I was finally able to finish the sculpt and mold it after a year of sitting on the shelf
