UK conventions or cosplay events

Hi guys
Currently live in surrey and would love to be involved in more cosplay events.
I have only been to one convention atm and that was Kapow 2012 and absolutely loved it so that's why I have turned to you guys for details of more events or conventions around London is preferred but I'm open to travel as long as there is a premier Inn close to event
Would love to meet more people with similar interests from this site.

If you want a cosplay event the the Manga show (MCM London Comic con) at Excel has a massive cosplay turn out. Next show 24/26 Oct

The LFCC shows at Earles Court / Olympia also have alot of people in costume and a lot else on as well. Next show 18/19 Oct

If you are into Trek then there is a big Trek show this weekend at Excel.

I'm sure there are others but the main two organisers seem to be Showmasters and MCM, they both do shows in other locations in the country throughout the year.

There's the Preston Comicon on the same weekend as MCM London. Chose it over London as the creators of Judge Dredd are guests

I personally prefer the mcm events but that is purely a personal thing. Really looking forward to this weekends show, im going on saturday as are a few others from here,http://www.therpf.com/f68/london-comic-con-2014-a-214259/ check out my thread, I started it for the con a few months ago at earls court and ontinued it for this weekends con too.
