Bigbat23's Arkham Origins "inspired" foam build

Thought I would share my progress on my Arkham Origins "inspired" foam build. For my cowl, I used JFcustom's awesome Pep file. This is my third go at it and I am pleased with this one. IMG_20140920_132556.jpg

This is the cowl, with my own neck seal I drew up and the lower neck armor. That Pep file is Crimmson713's.

My gauntlets done with pdf files from the Foamcave with a few mods.

Chest and ab armor I drew up myself. Still need to bevel one ab plate.

Shin Guards. Well 1. The other needs a few more pieces.

More to come.

Thanks! I didn't mess with the scale this time just printed it as is. My last one I increased it 10% and it was a bit big.
Did you just curve the top instead of using the gaps? Mine ended up a bit big I'm going remake a few pieces. Also what glue lol sorry for the questions I've never done pep before. I don't want my armor to out shine the cowl

I used the gaps. The cleaner the cuts, the easier it will go together. I use Loctite Super glue gel. Still mapping out a plan to add some details to the cowl..

Love the cowl man! Is that supposed to be a bat head on the bridge of the nose? If so, I'd emphasize it more, or just not have it at all. With it being so subtle, it just looks like an afterthought to me. The detailing is so clean otherwise.

Man I wish I had your talent! That's pure awesomeness right there. Can't wait to see your finished product. I might steel you chest piece idea for my version of the Green Lantern if you cool with it. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411706483.913134.jpg

Man that looks so nice but how did you get your head in it? mine was so tight so I had to cut through the back of the mask and got it together with elastic pieces.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I really appreciate it. Well I took a break from working on my kids costumes today to finish construction on my neck armor. Finally happy with it.

Just need to seal and paint.

The complete cowl with neck armor looks awesome.I have made the mask piece but I need help with this one. Can you please explain how do you wear it? I would like to know if you used magnets, velcro or another method. Also it would be nice to see some pictures of the back of the mask. Looking forward for your answer. Thank you!

It takes a bit of work to get it all on but once on it's all pretty comfortable.
