While not a "specific" prop, the pineapple grenade has made several appearances in action- and war-movies, so I thought I'd share this here.
Some time ago, a friend of mine asked me to make some grenades for...I think she wanted to apply at an art school and wanted to take some pictures with them, though I never really understood why this is art.
Anyway, I started to carve the shape out of floral foam, made a silicone mold, made a wax copy and got something like this

which (after a bit of cleaning) I then put together and painted. The first three pictures show my personal copy which still lacks this "handle" on the back; the last one is one of my friend's "artsy" pictures with a different paint pattern and a handle attached.



After figuring out how to do it, it was a pretty easy and fast project (to get some layers of acrylics on the wax actually took the longest time)
