Dude, the LIFETIME network is producing this movie, which suggests that they ALREADY have a demographic slice watching their network and are merely trying to cater their programming to said network.

In other words: we're old now.

Personally, I always thought the show was crap, although if there was nothing else on I might occasionally watch it--mostly for the hot girls. But I'll probably check this out. I usually like these "how it was made/'real' story" movies.
