Captain America Stealth Suit boots and/or gaiters

Has anyone found any boots and/or gaiters that would work for Captain America's stealth suit? I realize buying something won't give me an authentic look, but I'm just looking for something close that will work and at least look decent. I had thought about just regular black combat/police style boots, but wasn't sure.

Had an idea this weekend that I thought I would try. I had some old atv boots that I wasn't using anymore so I spray painted them flat black, then masked it off and sprayed the buckles brown. Certainly not authentic, but it might be good enough unless I can find something else.

There VERY nice find on the boots but can I ask, what make are they?

They are an old pair of Dirt bike/motocross boots (O'Neal MX10) that I had bought on craigslist for $40. Since I bought new ones for riding I decided to give these a try. They were solid black for the most part but some of the logos/lettering was white. I just cleaned them up really good since they were very dirty, then just spray painted them with a flat black paint. Once this was done and dry, I masked off everything but the buckles and then spray painted them brown. I didn't want to spend too much money on this so this was perfect for me even though it isn't authentic, it isn't bad.

You can find motocross boots here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/boots-and-accessories but they are all over the place used (Ebay, Craigslist). Just be aware because of what they are used for, there will be some old dirt all over them. I had to power wash mine to get them cleaned up.

Fly4v: Thanks for the link to the actual boots. I do like those. Not sure I have the time (or talent) to make the leggings but maybe I'll try to come up with something.

Got gaiters on etsy from seller vampoodles. Cost a pretty penny, but was way worth it. I also wore them all day for an urban race running all over Denver, and they didn't miss a beat.

Which, if you look at the Hot Toys boots for the Stealth Suit, are exactly the basis for the boot. The sole is an exact match. The top was clearly modified by production.
