Frank Miller inspired Batman

I've started a Frank Miller inspired Batman that I'm rather happy with. I just need to decide what pose to do the body in.

Thanks for the positive comments chaps.
I've added a base and started working on his legs. I'm not sure about his boots. Any Thoughts?

Not traditional, but the more I see them the more it fits the way you have portrayed the model - haggard, possibly on the run, doesn't have all his equipment etc. Batman too often is depicted as "awesommmmeeee arrghhhh" that he lacks weakness. This is cool.

Very cool , but check your proportions, head looks a little big and feet too small. Also Millers batman was a hulk so he needs bulking up. Love the pose.

Yeah the proportions are miles out. I based the head on a Frank Miller picture and the rest has just been mashed together.
I need to start planning my work before hand, the body has been made with no reference pictures and you can tell!
I've started to add some colour to it now.

I've been doing some more doodling with Bats. Please excuse the fuzzy photo, We haven't had any decent light here for a few months.
I'm happy with the grey parts of the suit but I cant the the blacks to look at matt as I wanted. And his face looked 1000 times better without the flesh colour added to it.
But its just a doodle to get some practice in so I'm not going to beat myself up too bad about it.
He ended up being quite bobble headed as well. I don't think I'm finished with this style of Batman yet so I might use this as a guide to re sculpt the full thing.
