Also, as an FYI, autograph and photo op prices are up on the website. This year seems pretty reasonable to me as the vast majority of the celebrities are charging $40 or less.

Of course the ones I am wanting are asking above $40. And Clark Gregg.... That price is insane and the tipping point I am not willing to pay for his autograph of $80... or even a photo op at $99. I know it's all the agents who decide this stuff into the costs for having him there, but that is awfully high of a price to ask for him. I mean Stan Lee is even less, and he is basically the God of Marvel.

Oh.... Also JUST announced, firesprite:

Finn Jones

Best known for his role as Ser Loras Tyrell on HBO's Game of Thrones, the Arts Educational School-trained actor has also starred in the films Wrong Turn 5, Sleeping Beauty, and The Last Showing. He started out as Jamie in the UK's Channel 4 series Hollyoaks, and also spent some time (and space) on The Sarah Jane Adventures.

He is the Droid we're looking for.

Re: Emerald City ComiCon 2015 Updated 01/26/15

Educated guess? I'd expect to see another two or three celebrity guests announced before the con. I don't have any insider info, but that's my thought.

I still have my fingers crossed on Peter Dinklage, but my understanding is that he doesn't really do cons because they're really uncomfortable for him. Still... I would LOVE to get a chance to meet him.

Re: Emerald City ComiCon 2015 Updated 01/26/15

I can't wait to meet John Barrowman! I'm saving my money so I can get his autograph and a picture with him.

I'm going to be Amy Rose and Unikitty.

Can't wait to enjoy con for Saturday and Sunday. :)

New author announced!

Pat Rothfuss is coming back to ECCC and I'm totally jazzed!

Patrick Rothfuss
Patrick Rothfuss is the New York Times Bestselling author of The Name of the Wind, The Wise Man's Fear, and The Slow Regard of Silent Things. When not working on his writing, Pat plays with his children, makes mead, and runs Worldbuilders, a geeky charity that raises money for Heifer International.

Re: Emerald City ComiCon 2015 Updated 02/09/15

Show floor layout and locations of the various exhibitors and artists went live earlier this morning, so I thought I'd share this... complete with handy-dandy little arrow to show where my table will be during the con.

As you can see, we're up on the top level, a proverbial stone's throw from the media guests (which should, theoretically, give us a LOT of traffic). Also, note, based on the number of media guests announced and the number of berths for them, we have 1 more celebrity announcement coming in the next few weeks.
