Sat down and made this today, it's not 100% accurate obviously but could work for some people.

Printed this today, took about 10 hours at .3mm resolution on my Solidoodle 3 with support. The vertical pins at the bottom of the rocket are super fragile, as well as the top portion of the rockets. Everything came right off as I was trying to remove the support material. Also, inserting the rockets into the body caused the body to crack, so I'll need to fix some fitment issues. Overall it looks great, I just need to tweak a few things and try again!

I sliced up the rocket model and rearranged it so I wouldn't need to use support. The result was much better! Though those pins are still quite fragile.

That print came our awesome! I figured the posts on the rocket would be really fragile. How is the size when assembled? I guesstimated the measurements when modeling it. Any suggestions for improving them are welcome, I'm working on a v2 of the model and will post some updated pictures when I get home from work.

Updates!

In all the pictures the v1 model is on the left, the v2 is on the right.

To start here is a comparison shot of the v1 model and the current state of the v2 model side by side

Here is a comparison of the rockets

and a close up of some of the detail

the "rocket cores" pulled out of the pins for a better comparison

the circle on the bottom of the body has been widened and a small ring added inside, as well as some "bolt heads" added to the arms holding the rockets

But the big change so far has been the addition of slots and grooves/ pins and holes to make printing individual pieces easier. I plan to also do this to the rocket components

Thanks a ton for sharing these files. I notice that the post is fairly old and there are no pictures of a completed booster. Are you still updating/improving the model or do you consider it complete? I was going to start the arduous process of printing one for myself but don't want to do that only to have you post an improved version the next day. Thanks!
