Dancin_Fools Halloween 2014 Costume Entry - Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

Just finishing up printing all the detail bits for the pack. The clipboard valve, the resistors, the connectors.

Here's also some shots of all the stay puft pieces. Mostly just painting left. I think I might stuff the limbs with something to help keep their shape better. The leg looks a little deflated.

Hahah thanks!! Probably because I haven't posted any pictures on The Armored Garage yet. I like to keep my halloween costumes on the down low from friends and family.

I've been focusing on getting the packs finished the last couple days. They're almost finished besides the decals and the electronics.

I hit my sons with a semigloss last night but I'm not loving the results. I'm not sure if I can just hit it with a flat black or do something to reduce the shine. I will post pics of the paint job tonight. In the mean time here's some shots of the pre-primed packs.

So I picked up some flat black and re sprayed the pack looks 100 times better.

I started adding on the decals and details. I bought heat shrink tubes for the colored tubes but they have like zero bend. You'd think I woulda noticed that when I bought them. So I need to figure out a different plan for those.

I did some more coats on stay puft as well, need to pick up some blue for his collar

Here's some pics of the pack and a stay puft leg, hah.

I started adding tubing to the proton pack and some color on Stay Puft. The color really starts to bring him to life!

It's said too much already, but yeah the color really makes it POP :lol

Great work on all of this, I love that your Puft is actually a solid costume, not something air-pumped :thumbsup

Ok one more day... Tonight I have to glue on stay pufts scarf, air brush some detail, adjust the strapping, and finish stuffing. On my wife's pack I need to add the straps and any more details I can fit in.

Here's some test shots from last night testing the fit.

I didn't forget, just ran out of time. I need to airbrush the blue in all the creases too.

Thanks though hopefully I can revisit this costume in the future.
