Any Metro Detroit or Toledo people going to this?

monroe comic-con and card show

It's pretty small, admission is only $2. But it looks pretty cool and I know people who went last year who said it wasn't huge but had a lot of nice people and some cool cosplayers there.

I'm considering getting a table for my Star Trek webseries.
 
Yeah it's fairly new. I'm not sure but I think this is like the third or so year for it. I'd have to look it up, but it's not too far from me (I'm south of the airport now) so I'll be swinging by, even if I don't get a table for my webseries.

Being that it's still pretty local and it's super cheap, maybe we can get some RPFers to show up and have a little mini gathering.
 
They just announced their cosplay contest info on their FB page.

We still need to get the MI roll call going. I'm finding a lot of people in the Metro area are on here. In fact, a friend of a friend was here all along and I had no idea until the other day.
 
Yeah, sort of bumping this because it's less than a month away and I'm just wondering who all is going.

I'll be there with the Star Trek: Osiris table so come find me!

I still haven't decided what to wear. :) I might just wear my Star fleet uniform.

It was fun! I didn't get a lot of pictures, but I'll put up the few I did get. It was a lot busier than I expected!

I popped over to the R2 Builders area to look for anyone from here to say hi but the one guy I approached about it said most of them are on here but nobody ever logs in. I went 'Uhm... at least one person does but okay' and didn't get a chance to come back later to check back.

Good turnout. I am looking forward to next year. The venue was a little cramped but I think they did pretty good with the layout overall. My table ended up being up against a back wall but we still got a good amount of traffic.

Sorry misty. Worked took me away from my plans that day. Glad you had fun and your table got some traffic.

Wow, Gigi was there and I couldn't make it. I hate being called into work at times. :(
