This will be awesome going by the description. I hope it really shows the details It says it does. Ive already preordered it with amazon. :)

Yeah, this sounds like an interesting book, but I'll want to see what's actually in it before buying it. I'm hoping that it will actually have some decent pictures of B-wing pilots and their chestboxes and helmets... While I have a movie-accurate B-wing pilot helmet there are still a few greeblie details that I can't quite make out in the pictures I've seen. It's encouraging that it says "compare the helmets and jumpsuits of the rebel fighters" but that could just mean tiny, blurry pictures of the A/B/Y-wing pilots like there usually are...

(I had to scratch-build my chestbox, unlike my helmet-- except for the helmet greeblies-- but I'm not too worried about the chestbox, I think I pretty much nailed it. The helmet greeblies though...)

Hi all,

This was a very exciting project to be a part of, and I think the RPF members will really enjoy it.

The highlight of the book is all-new photography of the original costumes, shot recently in the Archives (including the rebel pilots mentioned above.)

No tiny, blurry pictures here. :)

Very cool! I saw it on theforce.net, but they had a blurry cover pic so I didn't notice the author. Now we just need a good prop book. SW Chronicles was good, but often used tiny pics.
