Mortal Kombat 9 Subzero Build

I started on A subzero build from the MK 9 game series, I started out with the masks made using pepakura..I finished the card stock process in A day and moved onto building scorpion and all I can say is subzero was easy but scorpion very fiddly Iv found..But I can take my time with the scorpion mask whilst I harden the subzero one sand and spray!..
Any good hardening substances, bonding brands and high quality sprays will be very appreciated if shared with me : ) .. I'm also in the UK so that will probably effect with differences between brands and prices ETC.

I'm not familiar with UK brands so I can't help much there, but that is a solid looking pep you put together, man. Good job.

Thanks Bro it's the first pep iv ever done I thought I'd start with a MK mask as A small project to get used to how the jigsaw puzzle goes might aswell make A full costume

Im looking for An MK 9 scorpion pep file with the extended brow piece if anybody knows of one corse im willing to pay if needs be... And subzero will be hardened and sanded this week : )
 
Fibreglassed subzero today : ) and the fibreglass was blue how ironic!

Subzero got its first resin coat and some sanding so next up i'm doing A very thin layer of glassing again before bonding the details and priming ready for paint..and a lot more sanding of corse

Hey can anybody help me with A good material to fill and smooth out the mask and build up sharper corners? also something I can use to uncase my resin and smoothing work so it does crack or peel before I prime it and paint it? much thanks
 
My first time bonding anything it sands like A dream but never got to sand all of it I'm going to build up on layers in certain areas and sand as I go before getting the final shape and sanding my life away till its where I want it..One side of the mask at the moment is protruding more than the other so I'm gonna sand it down hard and bond the shape back so it looks equal and feels equal on my face.. happy so far : )

I am thinking about redoing my sub-zero after I finish my iron man. I kind of want to redo my mask and do a really nice paint on it. Yours looks to be coming along nicely
 
Definitely take your time with the Bondo. If you build up to much in certain areas it'll come out looking wonky, but so far so good! lol
 
Great job!

I especially liked how the coat of resin gave it the marble look; really gave it a frosted over look. Definitely good for motivation, considering the character.

Been looking into a good pep file to start this same costume piece with. Might be hitting you up. ;)
 
I'm looking forward to seeing how this comes out. Looks like you're using the same pep file that I used on mine before it collapsed for the second time and I gave up. So I'll live vicariously through your success.
 
does any one know where I can get the print the subzero mask I have been all over google trying different listing and I can not find them can anyone help me please I am really needing them for the next convintention that is four weeks. I plan installing small blue led lighting in the front part of the mask and inside the mask itself my friend is helping me to make blow out smoke as I breathe to make it like it is cold air
