Been wanting to build one for a long time and thought it would be too much for me to take on but last week i thought i would give it a go.
This will not be a working bike just a prop for the mancave.
Bought some used Hoosiers 90 11 15
Not the correct size but big enough for me.
Today i made a rough template with pvc pipes to give a idea of what im building, its a bit crude but helps me find the center line ect to build it with steel tubes next.
Next is buying the wheels, working in the auto trade helps :)
I am going with fence post tubing and fittings, easy to work with and i can keep changing the angles by adjusting the end clamps till im happy with the angles then i can take it to work to do all the welding.
I could never make it movie accurate but hopefully it comes out so people will know what it is lol.

got some wheels today.

1016937_10201642882582820_444829206_n.jpgStarted on the front fork. was going to use fence clamps but cant get them big enough so will be welding everything.
I got the wheels from a mate in the trade, second hand 15x10 sunrayshia 4x4 rims. saved me a few bucks there.
Used trailer hub and stub axle. its not gonna run except for my mates pushing me so dont need to add brakes :)
More cutting pipe this weekend.

Been a little swamped for all my free time lately but spent a few hours on the weekend on my Pod.
Until i put it together i had know idea how long these really are :)
