Captain America Rescue Version Budget Shield Speed Build

I love it when I manage to get something done in the space of a few days.

This isn't exactly movie accurate but I'm happy with it as a little decorative piece.

Started with a sheet of foam board £1

Marked it up

roughtly

cut a bit of spare foam to match the curve

to make sure the curve was the same on both sides

marked up circles to draw the stars in. I drew round CDs for the outer ones and a pan lid for the middle. Very technical I know.

More paint and some masking later boosh. nice enough rescue shield.

(the lines are all the same width but this things like an optical illusion they look wonky depending on the angle. :))

looks good, i'm moving soon and was thinking of a Cap shield on the wall of my new mancave but wasn't sure on how to get one done on the cheap... this would be perfect though.
