Hi,

A friend of mine asked me to build him Wolverine claws. The claws has to be done for the next evening...

I went to the market. All I need was a PVC plate 3mm, screws, nuts and aerosol paint.

I took the measures and cut out the 6 claws.

After sanding and drilling the holes, I inserted the screws and fixed it with the nuts. The screws allows a good grip and the adjustments (space between the fingers) are pretty easy for whom who wear it.

I did the paint-job in the evening. The primer is dry in 2 hours and the silver finish in 12 hours

He was pretty excited about the claws and want them now with a sharpen blade look,a matt, lusterless silver colour and some kind of a build to wear them more comfortable. I had the idea to make an wristband with a nylon strand..

I'll post the next steps as soon as I'm finished.

Looks awesome! Did that exacto knife cut through the pvc alright? Or did you use another tool?

Thx..The PVC is very soft. First I cut smoothly, then strong

Can you post the template you used to cut the right size?

It depends on the length you want to have. And not all hands have the same thickness between the fingerspace. A template wouldn't really help out.

Try first on cardboard, then use the cardboard template to cut it out on the PVC. I'm sure, you'll have success..
