So to answer some Qs up front:
I am not the model...lol, its mah wifey... this was her valentine's day gift.
Cowl is a cut out TDK, unknown maker, urethane rubber.
Belt is a modified clooney, i think, unknown maker, urethane.
Suit is made from a pattern i derived from a wetsuit, 4mm stretch foam backed mesh fabric.
Plates are entirely made of foam, in various thicknesses, glued on and together with carpet glue and zap-a-gap, and painted with plastidip and sharpies.
Of course there is elastic and velcro and a zipper.
The top is separate from the bottom, so she can get in and out of it easier.
Cape is satin line imperial velvet.
Ill start with the final look (for now) and then you can see the progress pics.
