!

Current:
Millenium falcon, Hasbro legacy conversion to 1/48 scale model with full internals and lighting, includes building all in sketchup and 3d printing

future:

create a mini cockpit for daughters based on mf, including switches, noises, lights, control panels, seats, drop down panels, access ports (with hidden areas to turn into desks for drawing, study, etc). These will be under raised beds, beds will include other external fold out panels to make environments (deserts/city/futuristic). As my younger daughter also loves crystal maze/puzzle games. Currently in sketchup planning stage

Awesome, seeing the guns on it has given me some more awesome ideas! Oh boy I can see this turning into the build to end all my builds! I love those as ideas, will be worki g on this tonight to get my first full design up. I have lots of ideas. Fortunately the joint room we have, but not used yet, is about 25ft by 20ft, so big enough for two big single beds

Current - Full Scale Millennium Falcon

- Finish Existing Cockpit (seats, lights, sound, greeblies, outer skin)

- Stand Alone Center Console with Seats mounted to platform (lights, sound)

- New Center Console to match ESB design / layout (Plexi, lights, sounds, throttles, matte box, etc.. panels to be CNC'd VERY SOON)

- Full Scale Quad Laser (FINISHED - now designing barrels to reciprocate with blast sounds)

Future

- Martin Baker Ejection Seats

A "What If the Millennium Falcon had been designed in the Star Trek universe" bash.
A Korbanth LS6 hilt conversion (This one will take forever).
Transformers Generations Rhinox cannons re-paint for a friend.

My workbench looks like someone fed an entire toy department through a wood chipper.

1:1 Scale Boba Fett Helmet paint commission (ESB Version)
Kit Bash Star Wars inspired Escape Pod
Scratch Build Mother Ship for short film

s/s b-wing
s/s 32'' falcon hasbro conversion
1/16 scale mad max cars and truck diorama
an assortment of original scratch built projects ( my own ideas)

And the worst thing is that I keep seeing other things and thinking I should buy them too!!!

Waiting for warmer weather to be fair...work shop way too cold at moment ( thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it ) :wacko

Is there something in the phyche of a modeller that we become bored easily and get lured to new and Shiny projects? Or is that just me?

Current(ish) projects for me include:

--MPC Millennium Falcon which I'm detailing as close to the five foot model as I dare.

--Conversions of YT-1300's by Fantasy Flight Games into different variants for the game X-Wing Miniatures.

--Building an original spaceship interior and exterior in 1:60 for a Firefly RPG I'm playing with some friends. Also, other various props in 1:60 for this...

--Noah's Ark, based on the Genesis account with my own logical speculation, currently on hold waiting for my local store to restock on some of the plastic I need.

--Original design scratch-n-bash found here:
http://www.therpf.com/f11/original-spaceship-design-freestyle-scratchbuild-kitbash-204537/

--The old Oregon State Capitol building in 1:96 scale. Still in the planning/prototyping stages.

--A whole host of other projects safely stored away in my pantry awaiting future attentions.

And, Samster27, you are not alone. Shiny new projects are irresistible. Besides modeling, I also draw a lot, occasionally paint, and I'm also working on writing a fantasy novel; I'm about 200 pages into it which is nearly a third of the way through my outline. (A word-count informs me there's over half a million characters typed(!)) So, yeah... lots going on.
