Well, we live for the nuance sir.
My Son and I did a quick review/comparison of this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBh2nE_dCjY&feature=youtu.be if you're interested.
opcorn.....Sitting in Customs for a week is not too bad....could be busy time for them. Customs don't confiscate these types of blasters. They may send you a letter requesting a police permit (i.e. B709A permit) for it, or let it go straight through for delivery. Try contacting the Aussie Customs and Aust-Post people if you don't receive it within another week.:confusedI'm also in Australia, my blaster has been sitting with customs since the 15/12, so there's a good chance they've confiscated it .

Sheesh.... Customs can be so stupid and/or ruthless sometimes. You waiting for a B709A since Feb??....huh. That's way too long for WA?. Mine, here in SA usually take on average 4 weeks to process at the SAFirearms Division. Each B709A I get are specific for what I want to import at the time and they are usually time limited with a two to three month expiry date which gives me ample time to order/ship the item....but if one of my B709A permits expires...they usually issue a new one within a week or so with an updated expiry date.Generally that's true but I had one confiscated recently and it was destroyed because they said it looked just like a Taser :/ (it had a pink plug and had been painted blue to convince them that it wasn't a threat).
It IS best to secure a B709A permit if possible.
I am still waiting though for mine - I applied for it in February.
