I am planning on starting on this costume soon, but I was wondering what kind of materials would you recommend? I have looked into wonder form and worbla as a material to use but before I go out and spend money on that stuff is there anything you would recommend to use in its place I have looked onto other forms on here like http://www.therpf.com/f78/iron-man-mk4-plastic-coated-foam-build-150770/ and http://www.therpf.com/f78/mark-vi-pepakura-iron-man-build-161283/
Both of these builders have different techniques that they use but at the same time I notice that they use a 3D model in which I have downloaded. Now this is my first Marvel cosplay I have done other minor cosplays such as female Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead and Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon. This is my first big cosplay and I am starting now in December/January to give me enough time to have it finished by July/August of 2014.
Any recommendations will be taken into account
